Luminesce Alliance - Research Facility

Research

Our precision medicine research programs cover a wide range of paediatric health issues, from cancer and rare diseases to neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health.

Our work is made possible by the support of the NSW Government.

In 2019 Luminesce Alliance was first funded by a $24 million investment, creating the Paediatric Precision Medicine Program, exclusively focused on early diagnosis and treatment for children, limiting long-term effects and reducing the burden on the healthcare system.

In  2023, the NSW Government invested a further $20 million in a four-year funding commitment 2023-2027, allowing the Alliance to develop infrastructure and collaborative networks known as Enabling Platforms.
