The outstanding results of THINK METTL5 project have been included in Therapeutic Innovation Australia’s (TIA) Pipeline Accelerator Casebook published in June 2025. The casebook celebrates key projects from more than 200 projects funded by the scheme since 2017.
THerapeutic INnovations for Kids (THINK) program, supported by Luminesce Alliance, led by Prof Ian Street and A/Prof Greg Arndt and delivered by Children’s Cancer Institute, is an end-to-end drug discovery capability dedicated to generating new therapeutics for children suffering from rare genetic diseases, cancer, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
The Pipeline Accelerator funding enabled the early development of small molecule inhibitors of METTL5, and generated key proof-of-concept data to support applications for further funding. Read more (page 20).
