This project used data linkage to integrate genomic and clinical treatment data with population-based administrative health data in order to understand the immediate and long-term impacts of treatment of childhood diseases, including cancer, congenital heart and other rare diseases.
-
This work sheds light on risk factors for disease, identified patients or patient groups for clinical trials or those who benefit from specialised treatment or targeted interventions, will enable targeting of personalised treatments or prevention strategies to patients’ clinical and molecular profiles, and assist NSW Health to assess impact of precision medicine in children with cancer and genetic rare disease.
